Type: Seeking Position

Podalgia Podiatry is seeking a locum podiatrist to cover the role of community Aged Care on the Gold Coast two to three days a week from the period of the 7th to 31st January 2024. The role includes working for a diverse range of patients funded through HCP, DVA, NDIS and CDM. The provision of podiatry services in the community, many of whom have a need for care and assistance in their home and improving their quality of life. 

Qualifications:

• Currency of registration with AHPRA
• Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment
• Professional Indemnity Insurance​​​​​​
• First Aid and CPR 

Responsibility:

Comprehensive podiatry assessments, diagnosing, treating any foot related conditions.

• Assess patients affected by diabetes or peripheral vascular disease.
• Orthoses prescription and footwear recommendations. 
• Provide reports upon assessment on currents needs and recommendations.

Patient record management:

• Provide accurate and timely transfer of information to other health care        providers where necessary.
• Ensure all patient records are compliant with legislative expectations.
• Maintain patient information and records as per practice requirements.
• Transfer/obtain medical records as required.
