About the role

Highlands Podiatry is seeking a Podiatrist to join our growing team in the beautiful Moss Vale, New South Wales. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide exceptional podiatric care to our diverse client base within our growing local community. 

We are a small but busy clinic which was established over 15 years ago. We currently have two podiatrists working out of the clinic and we have a wonderful supportive receptionist who works 930am-4pm daily.

This position would suit a team member who would enjoy a more country lifestyle with the comforts of being close to Sydney which is 1.5 hours away, and 2 hours from Canberra. 

The position would ideally be full time, however we are open to part-time. We are flexible and willing to work with you, for the right person to join our team long term. Highlands Podiatry is clinic only practice, there would be no home visits or nursing home work.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive podiatric assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for patients
• Providing a wide range of podiatric services, including general foot care, biomechanical assessments, diabetic management, and ingrown toenail care.
• Collaborating with external healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of holistic, patient-centered care
• Educating patients on proper foot health and self-care techniques
• Maintaining detailed patient records and adhering to all relevant medical and legal regulations
• Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our podiatry services and clinical operations

What we're looking for

• Registration as a Podiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient focused approach who is professional, reliable and organised
• Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with industry best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as automonously 
• The role would ideally suit an experienced podiatrist. However, the position can be modified for a new graduate as well, where a mentor program would be put in place

Salary would be dependent on the candidate applying, however would include $1000 per year towards CPD and reimbursement of podiatry registration fees. There are also rural grants available and can be applied for.
