EOIs open to join two reference groups and help shape APodA’s position on digital health and disability

APodA currently has two reference groups inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from professionals to help advise and shape our position on:

  1. Advocacy Digital Health and
  2. Advocacy Disability
About APodA’s Digital Health Reference Group

We are seeing rapid changes within the digital health field. With an increase in digital health funding via the recent budget, APodA is calling upon the profession for guidance, participation and ‘boots on the ground’ feedback to help us stay informed and ahead of policy trends as they emerge.

If you’re passionate about digital health, interoperability, digital integration, and transformation, we invite you to express your interest in joining our Digital Health Reference Group, please scroll down to learn how to submit your EOI. With only two spots available, be sure to reach out as soon as possible to avoid missing this opportunity.

About APodA’s Disability Reference Group

Based on the recommendations of the NDIS Review, in March 2024, the Australian Government introduced changes to the NDIS Act 2013 (NDIS Act) that will enable future improvements to the NDIS and strengthen the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. With the new NDIS Act, we expect to seeing sweeping changes in the allied health and disability space.

The purpose of our Disability Reference Group is to establish a group of podiatric professionals who can help us provide informed responses based on practitioner feedback.

If you are passionate about disability care and are interested in how changes to the NDIS Act will impact podiatric care, we encourage you nominate yourself to join our Disability Reference Group. As above, please note, there are only two places available on this panel so don’t delay.

How to express your interest

Please email your details to advocacy@podiatry.org.au, and our Advocacy team will be in touch. We look forward to hearing from you!
