- Members have the option of paying upfront or monthly
- Payments can be made by credit card (bank surcharge applies), debit card, direct deposit, or a monthly schedule with deductions from either a bank account or credit/debit card.
- Pricing under the APodA Member Insurance Program is additional, refer to the insurance pricing table listed below.

Insurance Pricing
The pricing shown below is for the APodA Professional Indemnity and Public & Products Liability Insurance with BMS. This is the core insurance under the APodA Member Insurance Program. The following pricing and expiry dates apply to the program:

Conditions
- Prices vary by state due to stamp duty and could be lower. Price quoted is for South Australia based members. Prices include base premium payable to the insurer plus all applicable taxes, duties and levies which will be outlined before you pay for the insurance.It is important you select the correct insurance option that relates to your current work environment.
- ‘Professional Private Sector' must be selected if practising in both the private and public sector (a hospital).
- 'Professional Public Sector' allows a maximum of 4 hours a week in private practice.
- You can join the APodA Member Insurance Program any time throughout the year
- To join the APodA Member Insurance Program, simply log in to the APodA member portal and navigate to the ‘My Insurance’ section. You will need to register for an account in the BMS Portal to access cover.
- Insurance fees are non-refundable.
You must be a current Australian Podiatry Association (APodA) member to be eligible to register for the APodA Member Insurance Program. You must be part of the APodA Member Insurance program in order to access additional cover. If your membership ceases you will not be offered renewal when your policy expires. In offering this insurance to our members APodA is a distributor of BMS Risk Solutions Pty Ltd (BMS) AFSL 461594, ABN 45161187980. The insurance is issued by BMS under authority with the insurer.
