WEBINAR - The Team Communications Blueprint. Improve Working Relationships and Productivity in Your Team
A
From the time you see your first patient, your success as a practitioner is informed just as much by your ability to effectively communicate as it is by your clinical skills.
Likewise, when you are working with other practitioners and/or a support team, better communication in your practice will lead to:
- better ideas,
- fewer errors, and
- less misunderstandings.
In this presentation, The Hive CEO, Jon Heath, will explain how to "stay in the loop" (and avoid nasty surprises developing in your team behind your back)
He'll also outline how you can develop a rhythmic culture and routine within your practice, and which apps will help you keep it all on track.
Part 1 - Best Practice Communication TECHNIQUES
- "Not everyone's like me" - the different styles people use to communicate, and what you need to understand about people who use a different style to you
- The Communications Cycle - preparing for, and delivering important or complex communication
- Dealing with conflict ... constructively
- Best practice for effective meetings
Part 2 - Best Practice Communication CADENCE
- Putting yourself in the right place at the right time to facilitate necessary informal catch ups while eliminating time-waster
- When to schedule meetings and how often
Part 3 - Best Practice Communication TOOLS
- "There's ALWAYS an app for that" - should you use WhatsApp, or Slack, or Messenger, or [insert other communications software platform]
- How to support effective communication with productivity software
