Human skin is a complex organ with internal and external interactions that play a large role in its health. The foot in particular is a unique micro-environment subject to stresses rarely seen in other anatomical regions. This webinar will explore these factors in relation to Podiatric Dermatological complaints and offer practical methods in prevention and management of them.

With almost 15 years of clinical and teaching experience, Joseph is a highly qualified and energetic health professional. Bachelor of Podiatry (La Trobe) Master of Science (Cardiff University) Graduate Diploma or Dermatology (Bond University).
Having studied for over 8 years in undergraduate and post graduate settings and holding academic positions at 2 universities (including lecturer, clinical supervisor, thesis examiner and curriculum developer), Joseph’s expertise covers a large range of specialty areas including Biomechanics, High-Risk Foot, Dermatology, Wound Healing and Health Communication.
His most recent role is Consultant Podiatrist at the Skin and Cancer Foundation where he works with a team of Dermatologists to manage complex nail problems. Joseph is also a regular reviewer for a number of medical journals and contributes medical content to various blogs and websites.
Joseph’s passion for mentoring and teaching has driven him to develop clinically-relevant, up-to-date and engaging content for students, new graduates and experienced clinicians alike through his seminars, workshops and presentations.
