Volunteering | Oxfam Trailwalker Sydney 25 - 27 August
ROLE: Oxfam Trailwalker is a life changing 100km trail walk event where every step that participants take helps to raise vital funds to help tackle poverty. They rely on dedicated podiatrists to assist and treat their walkers so they are able to get through their journey.
The trail starts in Parsley Bay and finishes in Tania Park with two checkpoints offering Allied Health Serivices. Checkpoint 4: St Ives Showground and Checkpoint 6: Davidson Park.
There will be an Allied Health marquee at the above checkpoints with teams of podiatry, physiotherapy and massage specialists working together.
They will provide all the supplies and equipment you will need including surgical gloves and hand sanitisers, all you will need to bring is your expertise and willingness to tend to walkers acute injuries and put a smile back on their face!
