Join us for this 40-minute presentation and 10-minute Q&A session on the topic of vascular fundamentals.
Join Dr Peta Tehan for an update of vascular related podiatry. Dr Tehan will provide a comprehensive overview of the clinical presentations of vascular related diseases including updated assessments conducted by podiatrists in practice. She will also discuss management strategies for all types of podiatric practice, when to refer and how.
Learning Objectives:
1. Describe peripheral artery disease and it's clinical presentation in a variety of populations
2. Outline the various testing methods used by podiatrists and their application and interpretation
3. Determine appropriate referral and triage pathways, and implement podiatry strategies for people with peripheral artery disease

Dr Tehan is a clinical high-risk podiatrist and researcher focused on peripheral artery disease and wound care.
Dr Tehan uses a real-world approach to drive her research interests to improve the outcomes for patients with peripheral artery disease.
