Melbourne | Open Place

Open Place is a support and advocacy service that aims to address the needs of Forgotten Australians: individuals who grew up in Victorian orphanages and children's homes prior to 1990. It is a service that aims to be accessible, welcoming, client centred and flexible, to place itself in a position to help those who identify as Forgotten Australians to deal with the legacy of their often traumatic and abusive childhood experiences and to provide the necessary support to help them overcome the range of resulting issues, while improving their health and overall wellbeing.
