Welcome Dr Michelle Kaminski and Dr Malia Ho for a presentation addressing the current decline in student enrolments across the university podiatry programs in Australia and New Zealand. This research study was developed in collaboration with the Australasian Council of Podiatry Deans and received funding from the Australian Podiatry Education and Research Foundation. The overarching aim of this study was to identify the motivators and barriers for studying podiatry among current students enrolled in podiatry and health programs across Australia and New Zealand. The findings of this study will assist the promotion of podiatry courses by universities, and will also support key podiatry profession stakeholders, such as the APodA, to design effective marketing campaigns.a
