Program details:

Embracing and Supporting Neurodiversity and Sensory Processing:
Join Helindie in this dynamic practical session as she shares her knowledge and passion for working with children who have neurodevelopmental and sensory processing differences. Learn how we can make the world a less overwhelming place for our clients and embrace the unique relationships you will make when working with this population of patients.

Paediatric Prescriptions:
The importance of care and consideration are critical in those instances where a child requires orthoses. Rhys Pierce is a podiatrist and General Manager, Footwork Podiatric Laboratory. Rhys will guide you on the paediatric orthotic prescription options available and how best to apply them in day to day practice.

GALLOP Assessment Workshop:
A paediatric consult can often be a hurricane of an experience. Many aspects will peak your attention; primarily the child’s presenting pathology, their exuberance for life (and desire to touch everything in your room), the dynamic with the parent or caregiver and your desire to not make a mistake. All of this is happening whilst you are also attempting to not miss anything. The GALLOP assessment provides your grounding for a successful assessment, captures your red flags and helps you to produce a safe and relevant management plan. Feel confident in your paediatric assessment approach as we work through the logistics of this assessment together.
