Associate Professor Kade PatersonPhD, BPod, B App Sc (Hons), FASMF “Testimonial" |
Kurt RobertsonBPod, Post Grad Hlth Sc (MSMT) “The career framework is progressing the profession by offering podiatrists to expose or promote their skills in a manner that is verified by stringent examination processes. This offers patients the opportunity to ensure peace of mind when seeking care for their musculoskeletal condition. It has been a defining period in my personal career, and I have been honoured to be a part of its inception along with the leaders in our profession. I hope that one day it allows future graduates an achievable pathway to fulfill their clinical goals as well as elevate the overall status of podiatry in the Sports medicine fraternity." |
Matthew HotchkisB App Sc (Pod) “It has given me a great opportunity to challenge myself and I have felt part of a 'bigger cause in the sports podiatry realm'. The experience has driven me to both broaden my sports medicine knowledge base in general and reassess and refresh my current techniques to ensure they are correctly aligned with the latest research." |
Michael NitschkeBPod “I was part of the early development of the Career Framework, which was both rewarding and good for my clinical development. The process allowed me to see where my knowledge and experience in relation to Podiatric Sports Medicine was truly placed. The process helped me hone down on my clinical reasoning and sports injury management skill set. I think the process can be valuable for members to provide up to date knowledge in Sports Medicine along with giving a step by step process that enables self-evaluation. This consequently should give the practitioner great confidence in their ability to provide first class clinical servicing to populations that required Podiatric sports medical assistance." |
