New Graduate Podiatrist Commencing 2025 Melbourne, Vic

Position Vacant: Part Time

Flexible ‘New Graduate’ position (part time OR full time hours) at Medical Foot Care commencing 2025 at the start date of your choice!

We are looking to expand our team of seven podiatrists and five receptionists - so if you are soon to be a new graduate, this could be the opportunity of a lifetime!

The lucky applicant will be closely mentored by our director Dr. Gerard Zammit, who has many publications in prestigious medical journals and specialises in biomechanics and nail surgery. His guidance is priceless and will be of great benefit to any new podiatrist who is looking to broaden their scope of clinical practice.

At Medical Foot Care, we see a broad range of clinical presentations to keep the day interesting. This includes:

• Biomechanical assessment and orthotic therapy.
• State of the art Zebris treadmill pressure and motion analysis system available at our Altona North clinic.
• Dermatological conditions including warts and fungal infections.
• Swift and K-laser technology available at Altona North and Hillside clinics.
• Ingrown nail solutions including a unique anaesthetising approach to numbing toes of children and adults.
• Paediatric patients displaying an array of medical conditions from warts, heel pain, and pigeon toe.

The Role:

• Flexible full-time or part-time graduate role commencing 2025 across our Altona North, Bacchus Marsh, Hillside and Tullamarine clinics.
• Invaluable one- on-one mentorship with our director Dr. Gerard Zammit, including face to face and frequent teleconference meetings.
• Above award pay rate with yearly pay increases and product commissions.
• Varied case load including general care, biomechanics, orthotic therapy, dermatological conditions, fungal nails, ingrown nails and more!
• Regular in house CPD sessions and regular team bonding activities/dinners.

• New graduate with an outgoing personality and a passion for helping others, and the ability to work with other health professionals.
• The lucky applicant to display a high degree of enthusiasm, commitment, dedication and punctuality.
• The ability to work at multiple clinic locations across Melbournes West
