Wagga Podiatry Plus is seeking a full-time Podiatrist to join our expanding team. You will enjoy a culture of collaboration and inclusion where you are motivated, challenged and recognised for your contribution. 2024 and 2025 new grads are welcome to apply.

The role is suitable for an ambitious individual who is looking to fast track their development, advance their personal practice and extend their scope of practice within podiatry. Our clinic is technologically focussed and a suitable candidate should be interested in the extended scope this provides. You will have the opportunity to learn and upskill biomechanical assessment using zebris pressure treadmill analysis and implement high powered musculoskeletal laser, shockwave therapy, injectable therapies and the design and production of inhouse 3D printed orthoses. You will have the ability to undertake the endorsement for scheduled medicines should you choose under the mentorship of our Senior Podiatrist who holds full endorsement.

Our Senior Podiatrists will offer you a supportive and relaxed learning environment to help you grow.  For more experienced podiatrists, there are opportunities to upskill and accelerate your own professional development.

We offer a 12 month Graduate program which includes:

• A structured graduate program for new or recent graduates to ease your way into clinical practice
• Upskilling in biomechanics, pressure analysis, laser therapy, nail surgery, injection therapy, shockwave, Zebris and in house 3D printed orthoses.
• Full program including one on one weekly mentoring, regular check-ins and case discussions
• Designed to increase confidence in your skills and ensure you are enjoying your work!

The position:

• Permanent, full-time (flexibility with hours and days)
• Delivery of high quality care in all areas of podiatry; general treatments, biomechanics, orthoses, paediatrics, diabetes etc.
• Based in our newly purpose built clinic in Kooringal
• Regular 1:1 mentoring (more relevant for recent graduates)
• Quarterly progress catch-ups

About you:

• Excellent communicator, professional and friendly approach
• Proactive attitude and openness to learning
• Strong written communication skills (upholding high professional standards for clinical note keeping and letter-writing)
• Bachelor of Podiatry (current or pending registration with AHPRA)
• National Police Check (following interview stage)

About the Clinic

Wagga Podiatry Plus is located in a purpose-built recently refurbished clinic in Wagga Wagga. We have a strong, established relationship with many GP's, specialists and physiotherapists. Jordan was awarded the Australian Podiatrist of The Year 2020-2021 and has five years of experience teaching at the university level. The clinic has full admin support and enjoys a strong reputation in the local community.

Wagga Wagga is a growing city in the heartland of the Riverina. It is located close to snowfields and has a broad range of sporting codes in the city as well as great food and wine. It has affordable housing and flights multiple times a day to both Sydney and Melbourne.
