Our Allied Health workforce
Our multi-disciplinary team consists of podiatry, physiotherapy, psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology, remedial massage.

Gladstone is three hours drive north of Fraser Island, six hours drive north to Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays, 1.5 hours south to Agnes Water.

 

The Regional Podiatrist Role
The Podiatrist applies clinical experience, increasingly generalist and/or specialist clinical knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services, appropriate to the needs of the local community. The Podiatrist works under limited clinical direction, and may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced podiatrists. As a member of a multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, the Podiatrist utilises a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches.
Must hold a recognised qualification within a relevant Podiatry Profession, and be eligible for practicing membership with AHPRA. All requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled.
 

This vacancy is currently a full-time position however consideration will be given to part-time contract availability and hours of work will be by negotiation and salary will be adjusted according to hours worked.

Locum positions will also be considered.
 

Eligibility
Must hold a recognised qualification within the Podiatry Profession and be eligible for (full) membership with AHPRA.

Ideally have at least one year experience as a podiatrist.

 

Must have:

Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)
DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
National Police Certificate (NPC)
