We are looking for an enthusiastic Podiatrist to join our unique practice in the NT!
Swan Podiatry and Orthotics is a small, personal and busy private practice based in Darwin, Northern Territory. Swan Podiatry services include biomechanics assessments and gait analysis, nail surgeries, diabetic care, general foot treatment and Indigenous Community care in Darwin and Katherine.
We are searching for a driven Podiatrist to join our practice, working across our two clinics in Darwin and Katherine. Full time or part time available. New Graduates welcome to apply.
Position requirements:
- Bachelor of Podiatry and current AHPRA registration
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle, with preparedness to travel to satellite clinics
- Assess and diagnose and treat conditions related to the foot, ankle and lower limb
- Perform biomechanical assessments and gait analysis
- Prescribe, fit and review custom-made orthotics
- Provide general foot care including partial nail avulsion surgery
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity when working with Indigenous patients
- Carry out HICAPS terminal transactions and billing through online Medicare and DVA portals
- Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a small team
