Tooronga Podiatry is seeking an experienced Podiatrist.

In a competitive job market, we understand the importance of work-life balance and fair remuneration for your time. With over 25 years in Malvern, we are now expanding into the Kooyong area and need more staff to help establish our new clinic.

With a starting salary ranging from $80,000 to over $130,000 (depending on experience), this is a solid job with great diversity in a well-established setting.

Tooronga Podiatry is a well-established and respected podiatry clinic providing excellent care to our patients in Malvern and the surrounding suburbs.

Tooronga Podiatry delivers a full range of podiatry services to patients in our clinic and in the community, including in home and within a number of residential aged care settings.

Responsibilities and main duties

• Deliver routine and specialist podiatry care in a range of settings, including in clinic, home and residential aged care.
• Maintain excellent record-keeping.
• Communicate effectively with patients, partners, stakeholders and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean and safe clinic environment, including sterilising equipment and general cleaning duties.
• Work independently and as part of a supportive team, contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Undertake continued professional development.
• Demonstrate leadership and provide support and guidance to colleagues as  appropriate. 

Qualifications required

• Current podiatry qualification

• Confidence and proficiency in delivering high-quality podiatry care
• A caring, ethical approach to patient interaction
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
• Effective relationship management
• Self-motivated and passionate
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
• Employment experience (including number of years of experience required)

Graduate podiatrist: no professional experience required.
Experienced podiatrist: minimum three years’ experience required.

Registration/licensing or professional membership requirements

• AHPRA registration
• Professional indemnity insurance
