Research Support
The Australian Podiatry Association (APodA) invites researchers, research students, universities, and institutions to partner with us in promoting their research projects to our extensive podiatry network.
Submission Guidelines:
We consider proposals for research initiatives that:
- Contribute to the advancement of podiatry practice, education, or policy
- Demonstrates potential for meaningful impact on the profession or patient outcomes
Eligible Projects:
- Surveys
- Studies
- Trials
- Pilot projects
- Other innovative research methodologies

Submission Process:
To submit your research project proposal, please complete the online application below.
Review and Approval:
The APodA Research Committee will review submissions, considering factors such as:
- Methodological soundness and ethics approval
- Clear dissemination plan and expected outcomes
- Compatibility with the APodA's communication schedule (dissemination timelines)
Your In-kind Support to the APodA:
In return for our support, we may request the following from you:
- Letter of support for advocacy initiatives related to your research findings
- Opportunities to present your research and findings to the APodA audience via presentations at events/conferences/webinars or written articles in our communication channels
- Shared training or project opportunities
- Access to your research findings and reports made available to APodA members
