Use of Delegate Data by Commercial Partners

We treat the data we collect from our conference delegates with the utmost security.

The following outlines the terms and conditions for the use and management of delegate and associated data provided by the Australian Podiatry Association (APodA) to commercial partners (sponsors, exhibitors and advertisers) of APodA events.

All delegates who register for APodA events will be given the opportunity to consent to their contact information (specifically: full name, organisation, phone, email, state and postcode) being shared with the commercial partners.

Information from delegates who do not consent to sharing their data will not be made available to any commercial partner.

Information from delegates who consent to sharing their details will be made available with commercial partners in line with the inclusions agreed to as part of the Sponsorship Agreement (see below).

Commercial Partner Sponsorship Agreement

The following are the terms by which each commercial partner involved in Australian Podiatry Association (APodA) events agrees to operate by:

  • Commercial partners may contact delegates by way of the supplied delegate contact information in relation to products and services made available at the event.
  • Sponsors and exhibitors may engage with delegates during the conference and request their permission and contact details to follow up directly through face-to-face encounters.
  • Delegate data may not be used beyond six (6) months from the data of the event.
  • Commercial Partners shall not share, make available or, pass on delegate data to any third party, unless with the prior approval of The Delegate and APodA.
  • Delegates may remove consent at any time. Commercial partners will be advised of any delegates who remove consent and will confirm removal of that delegate data from any future contact.
